QUESTION:A couple weeks back there were some posts spreading a rumour about Ertl
doing a re-pop of their John Deere 4430 tractor. Today I dropped in at the
local John Deere dealership to find out for sure. Not only is the 4430 in
their toy catalogue, but also the John Deere 310 backhoe kit is being
re-poped. Both are on order and I've managed to reserve a couple of each.> Thats something that I should have done back in the 70's.

ANSWER: Both kits were available at my local John Deere dealer this weekend at $16.60
each, plus sales tax. I haven't heard if they'll be available thru hobby shops,
but I would assume so.
BTW, does anyone know if Ertl plans to rerelease the IHC and/or Massey Ferguson
tractors that were also in their line back then?
