QUESTION:Do you think that Illegal workers just get the jobs Americans wont do?
The fact is they get factory jobs,constuction jobs,hospital and nursing home jobs,Electrician,plumbing,Heav... equipment operators,Painting,Many own buisnesses such as subcontractors for painting,masonary,insulation,c... the while screwing the legal tax paying contractors by undercutting their prices on job bids. Are there any legal Americans that would like one of these jobs?
ANSWER: Most of the time. However, remeber that inmigrants who are already been granted with citizenship or with residency and have been living in the states for long time, most of the time remain to do the same jobs they were doing at first, which are blue collar jobs or low paid jobs that don't require formal education. why? there's a lot of discrimination to inmigrants and specially to latins in the states, this is why, job opportunities are NOT Equal for everyone. And of course, some inmigrants do not have any education what so ever to fullfill the requirements of a very demanding labour market. But the ones that do have the education... don't have the opportunities and their skills and education sometimes are not assessed completetly so they have to study again or for more time in the states to reach their level of education, but with the high fees of superior education, this is most of the times impossible for an inmigrant. So, to remain in their casual or permanent jobs with lower wages is their only option. Thay can't choose sometimes. But, this is changing in the last decades. Now, inmigrants are very well educated and can adapt easily to the system. So, It's hard and there are so many reasons behind "doing what an american wouldn't do". More opinions?
