That hurt, because Gramps weighed over 300lbs!
Is there still railroad service out to Key West? If not, when did >>> it cease? When did passenger trains cease?
ANSWER: This seaplane service was the birth of Pan American Airways,
once a giant airline. One of the tourist attractions in Key West (not open to the public when we were there) was the building--it
looks like it was a small residence used as an office--which was
the original headquarters of PanAm.
